September was a month of success for our Sailing Instructors Pippa and Ian. They both passed their Boatmaster One license examinations in accordance with the recently introduced Caribbean Small Commercial Vessel Code of Practice. Both were highly qualified sailors and instructors before this, but this latest license is a Caribbean requirement and they are now considered by our local authority to be competent to skipper sail and motor vessels up to 24 metres long.

Our yacht “Miramar” also underwent her annual inspection by the local Marine Department, and is once again “good to go” until August 2015.

At the beginning of September our yacht “Phoenix” received the all clear following her MCA Category 2 safety survey.
