Your Yacht for Antigua and Caribbean sailing holiday vacation cruises

November 2012

In late November John & Ali from the UK joined Brian & Pippa for a 6 day holiday charter during which we visited Barbuda and circumnavigated Antigua. At the end of their holiday they had this to say:

"What a fantastic 6 days with such great people. Thank you Brian & Pippa for lots of fun, excellent sailing, wonderful food. The best of times with the best of people. See you again xx"

Both John and Ali were keen photographers and these are a few of the shots we took.

July 2012

Past guest Michael bought his daughter Emma along for a trip to Barbuda in July. Michael skippered the yacht there and back. In our guest book they wrote:
"Lovely sailing, and amazing seeing Barbuda. Beautiful beach and sea. Such a wonderful trip. Thank you very much."

Later Michael emailed us to say:
"Just a quick email to say thanks for a great trip to Barbuda. Good sailing, amazing location and excellent company and training - what more could we ask?!"

June 2012

Mark & Karen from Eire joined us a few days sailing around Antigua. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine and breezes and after their trip they had this to say in our guest book:
"A dream made reality! Thank you Brian & Pippa, you two are wonderful teachers and hosts".

Subsequently they kindly took the trouble to text us and said this:
"Thanks again for a wonderful 3 day excursion! It was a great time that we both enjoyed. Karen learned a lot from you guys and I, of course,  loved everything about sailing your boat. What brought it all rushing back was seeing Danae today (apx. 2.00 pm) making her way back into Deep Harbour. She's looking good! I waved from the bar at Galley Bay but probably no chance that you saw me. So we just poured the wine, clinked our glasses together in a toast to you two and a fabulous time aboard Danae. Hope to see you again soon. Cheers!"

Andrea & Silvia joined us from Milan for a wonderfully relaxed 3 days in Barbuda. While there they took a taxi tour of the island which culminated in a superb lobster lunch on the beach at "Jala's" on Low Bay. They wrote of their charter:

We donated a Sunset Cruise to a charity auction in aid of P.A.A.W.S, an animal welfare charity in Antigua - the guests who had bid for and won the trip came out with us on 5th December.

On 3rd-5th October Nick & Fay brought their honeymooning friends Dave & Lorraine for a trip to Barbuda with Brian & Pippa on board Danae - Anchored off the long, pink beach, they enjoyed a lobster lunch at Jalla's Beach Bar and went 'hunting' for lobster in the lagoon, great fun was had by all and the 'Grande Finale' was Dave catching a beautiful 11lb Dorado just as we were returning to Jolly Harbour - well done Dave!

On 8th - 11th July, Mark & Ariane joined Brian & Helen on "Miramar" for a trip to Guadeloupe - They were on honeymoon, after staying in St Maarten for a few days they chose to sail to Guadeloupe with Miramar Sailing before spending some time in a lovely cottage in the hills. They wrote:
"Thanks so much for an amazing first sailing experience and some rousing card games as well! Next time everyone must skip Mark during Phase 10."

Fred & Sophie from London, UK escaped the cold weather in England (unlike Brian & Pippa!) and joined Dave and Emma for the week. They were lucky enough to visit the Charter Yacht Show which is pictured. They wrote:
“After another 'Big Freeze'in England, we never met Brian & Pippa, but rescue guest hosts Dave and Emma were both such excellent company. They taught us so much about sailing, from Clove Hitches and Bowlines to tackling some serious swells on the sea! Mixed weather (Where did tha rain come from?!)But a fabulus trip. Thank you! :)”

June 27th to July 3rd 2010

Ian and Mackenzie from Ottowa, Ontario, joined “Miramar” for a “Learn to Sail” holiday during which we visited Guadeloupe taking in Deshaise, Iles des Saintes and Pigeon Island. They proved to be very enthusiastic and capable students and they had this to say at the end of their week –
“We learned so much more than we expected and had a fabulous time. Singing sea shanties, and sampling Pippa’s wonderful meals, were the icing on the cake. Unforgettable for us both. Thank you so much for everything!! We’ll send along some Canuck bottle caps for the hat”
