The ArMen Race was designed to offer participants a tactical course from Quiberon Bay to Yeu passing by the Bay of Audierne in South Finistère.
The Race course is adapted to suit to weather forecasts, the objective being that all boats are back in La Trinité on Sunday morning for the awards.
In 2015 two race courses were set up. See bottom right.
With its open architecture, the ArMen Race village is open to all. Set on the banks of La Trinité sur Mer it is a place of encounter and exchange between sailors, journalists and media, exhibitors and general public.
For many boats that are competing in the RORC Fastnet Race, this race is an important qualifier.
