This event takes place in Marseille.
The majestic harbour of Marseille hosts this prestigious sailing event every year. Displaying beautiful sailing boats collected from the four corners of the world, the Juris’ Cup brings together more than 100 old classical sailing boats alongside 2000 participants fighting it out to be the queen or king of the sea. This has been happening for over 20 years.
The event is free, so ensure early arrival so you can get the best spots, like a cafe on the pier, from which to witness the fierce battles among the superbly styled yachts. The regatta started in 1991 with 25 boats and now has over 130 boats. Many nationalities meet up every year in the Old Port of Marseille for this fabulous race mixing professional and amateur sailors and lawyers.
