“L’Ultim Emotion” is a truly exciting Maxi Trimaran. In her days as “Gitana II” she won the Route de Rhum race in 2006, and came second in the Transat Jacques Vabre in 2007. In 2009 she was completely transformed into her present specification with significant optimization. Her length was increased to 24m with a width of 18m. Two new floats were built in New Zealand, and in 2010 she came 4th in the Route de Rhum.
Being constructed from Carbon Nomex, she is bigger, faster and stronger. She is exceptionally powerful and picks up speed immediately in areas of high wind, but remains robust, sturdy and controllable. With virtually new sails, “L’Ultim Emotion” is now in 100% racing configuration.
