Our Jeanneau Sun Magic 44 "Iguana" was designed as a global cruising yacht. At 44’ long, 13' wide, and 8’ draft she offers incredibly stable sailing. “Iguana's” turn of speed, and windward sailing capability make her exciting to sail with confidence.
She is Bermudan sloop rigged with a slab reefing mainsail & roller furled headsail. All control lines are led back to the cockpit to minimize deck work. This arrangement allows relaxed, stress free sailing.
The all important cold drinks are stored in the cockpit below the fold down table. There is spacious comfortable seating for our guests and a central aft helm position. A full width bimini and spray hood provides excellent protection against sunburn and sea spray. Her transom is equipped with a swim ladder and "sugar scoop" platform making swimming from the stern very easy. There is also a fresh water shower.
There are four cabins, three doubles and one single. There are ensuite heads forward and aft, both equipped with a shower. This accommodation provides ample overnight comfort for our guests. The saloon is large, spacious and comfortable with a central table and “L” shaped seating. She also has a home entertainment system with 100’s of DVDs. The linear galley on the starboard side has a large refrigerator, twin sinks and a 3 burner gas cooker with oven. In the single cabin there is also a freezer. The navigation station is aft of the galley on the starboard side. She is equipped with a water maker providing ample fresh water at all times.
She is powered by a Yanmar 54HP engine producing a comfortable 7 knot cruising speed.
We limit her capacity to 4 guests and 2 crew.
