Miramar Sailing School Instructor, Ian Grant, recently returned to the UK to undertake his Yachtmaster Instructor Training.
We are delighted to announce that he passed the exam and has successfully graduated from RYA Cruising Instructor to RYA Yachtmaster Instructor, this means he is able to teach all the practical courses within the RYA Cruising Scheme.
Ian will soon be travelling from our base in Antigua to even more islands around the Caribbean preparing our Yachtmaster Offshore, Yachtmaster Ocean and our YMX students for their exams. He has been with the Miramar team since 2013 and now with both Pippa and Ian at YMI level, our instructing team could not be better qualified. In October, Ian will once again be returning to the UK to further upgrade with the addition of Power Boat, Diesel Engine Maintenance and Radar Instructor.
