From the start of the Miramar Sailing School winter season we are offering the shorter option to the 2 by 5 day Day Skipper Theory and Day Skipper Practical courses.
Now both qualifications can be completed in 9 consecutive days with our 9 day Combined Day Skipper Package
The first 4 days take in the bulk of the Theory training before setting off on board the yacht to complete the Practical training. During these 5 days your instructor will set you the assessment papers for the Theory course.
The advantage is that you will have an opportunity to put the Theory into Practice before your assessment and stand a better chance of achieving a better result in the assessment. It will also give you more time in Antigua for R & R!
The Combined Course starts at 09:00 on Sundays and ends at 17:30 the following Monday. Should you choose to take 2 weeks for your visit to Antigua, there is also the opportunity to take one of our RYA 1 & 2 day Short Courses while you are here.

RYA SRC (VHF) Radio Operator’s Licence
RYA Radar
RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance
