Once again our intrepid Chief Instructor Pippa will enter the RORC Caribbean 600 race next February.
For 2018 she is looking for an all female crew!
Our website GirlsGoSailing.com explains her ethos and enthusiasm for female sailors.
The aim is to build confidence in women sailors who may not feel comfortable in the presence of their male counterparts.
This is achieved through her extensive experience, excellent Yachtmaster Grade training, and hands on practice.
A week on board with Pippa will leave you with a sense of empowerment that you may not have thought possible.
Pippa’s attempt at the 2018 RORC Caribbean 600 will be on board our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44 Phoenix.
This will be the 10th anniversary of this already legendary offshore race.
For the 2017 race we had a very favourable CSA rating of 0.810. On paper it was possible to get a result!
Unfortunately the wind Gods did not look upon Phoenix favourably!
Next year could be completely different. Pippa is confident she can complete the challenge and invites you to join her.
This event has grown in statue over the 9 years since introduction.
It has become a “must do” in the world’s offshore racing programme.
Antiguan hospitality, great parties and event administration are a given.
There is no better environment for industry networking.
We are offering 8 female crew a 2 week package at US$1,750 each.
- On yacht accommodation.
- Race provisioning.
- 7 days of pre event familiarisation.
- Entry fee.
- Berthing fee.
- Team polo shirt.
A 25% deposit will secure your berth.
The 2018 RORC 600 starts on Monday, February 19th. Our package starts with crew muster on Monday, February 13th.
Pippa looks forward to welcoming you aboard for this exciting opportunity.
