We are delighted to introduce “Cool Cat” as the latest addition to the Miramar Sailing fleet. She is a Belize 43 Platinum catamaran with ample cockpit and deck space for up to 10 guests. She will carry you safely and comfortably on your Day Sail in Antigua. Even the least adventurous of seafarers will not fail to be comfortable and content aboard this superb cruising catamaran.
At 43’ long, 29’ wide with a draft of 4.2’, she offers the ideal, stable sailing platform for navigating around the numerous coral reefs and beautiful bays that typify the coastline of the island.
She has 4 double cabins, each with en suite bathroom, to provide our guests with private facilities for changing before and after water activities. There is also a fresh water shower on the transom.
For the “sun worshippers” among you there is full width trampoline across the foredeck for comfortable relaxation and “ray gathering” while sailing. For those who prefer the shade, all seating in the cockpit is covered by a large bimini with drop down side nets for complete protection.
For your lunch there is the option of a large cockpit table with an even larger internal saloon table should the weather turn against you. Antigua is in paradise and thankfully we get a little rain once in a while! There is also a large Weber barbeque unit on the transom for the occasional grilled fresh fish treat!
“Cool Cat” is Bermudan sloop rigged with headsail roller furling, and all sail control lines are led back to the cockpit for relaxed, stress free and safe sailing.

Safety aboard Cool Cat
Safety is paramount on all Miramar Sailing yachts and “Cool Cat” is no exception. She is extensively equipped to USCG specifications as follows:
- 2 x offshore life rafts with a total capacity of 14 people.
- 1 x full set of distress flares.
- 2 x horseshoe life buoys each with automatic night- light.
- 1 x telescopic Dan buoy.
- Full compliment of life jackets with lights.
- 5 x ABC Dry Powder fire extinguishers located one in each cabin plus one in the saloon.
- 1 x VHF Transceiver radio
- Our dinghy and outboard are available at all times for ship to shore transport and safety cover during water activities.
All safety items are regularly serviced and annually inspected by the Antiguan Dept. of Marine Services and are “in date” at all times.
